BIDDEFORD, Maine — September 2026 — Car Wash Investments is pleased to announce the sale of Biddeford Auto Wash in Biddeford, Maine. Bobby Slater of Car Wash Investments exclusively represented the Seller in the transaction.
Biddeford Auto Wash has been a family-owned and operated business since November 2008, when the Seller’s oldest brother, Pat, had the vision to open the wash. Over the years, the family continued to invest in and grow the operation, including a major expansion in 2020 with the addition of a 107-foot tunnel.
Pat remained deeply involved in the business and its growth until his unexpected passing in 2021.
“This is a bittersweet moment for our family,” the Seller’s family shared. “Our oldest brother, Pat, had the vision for Biddeford Auto Wash and opened it in November 2008. He remained deeply involved in its growth, including the major expansion and new tunnel in 2020, until his unexpected passing in 2021. We are incredibly proud of the business he built and the legacy he leaves behind.”
The combination of the property’s location, access, and strong operating history generated significant interest from a wide range of prospective buyers, including entrepreneurs, regional multi-site operators, and national operators. The competitive marketing process ultimately resulted in multiple qualified offers. The strong response to Biddeford Auto Wash also reflects the continued activity in the New England car wash market, with demand remaining strong for quality existing operations.
